The RM 5000/S paint mixer is a high-performance paint mixer designed for large containers up to 30.8 liters. This model was specifically developed for heavy containers and high mixing capacity and is suitable for applications that require powerful, safe, and reproducible mixing processes .

Overview and Applications

The RM 5000/S was developed specifically for large containers and is designed for applications where conventional smaller mixers reach their limits. Its robust construction, generous clamping surface, and specialized container handling make this model particularly suitable for higher volumes and heavier containers.

The mixing process is based on a vertically mounted eccentric drive with a toothed belt, which moves a shaking gondola in an elliptical path with an eccentricity of 8 degrees at a speed of 630 RPM. As a result, the system is designed for powerful and uniform mixing processes with large containers.

Samples are loaded through a swing door that opens to the left. For large containers, a table insert is provided. Samples are clamped in place using a clamping motor, while a clamping safety device prevents improperly clamped samples from falling out. The control panel is ergonomically positioned above the test chamber.
