RM 5001 CE Disperser

The RM 5001 CE disperser, compliant with DIN 53238, Part 13, is used to test pigments for their dispersibility and the resulting development of color strength. In addition, the system is suitable for testing various binders, dispersing aids, and milled material compositions under identical mechanical conditions.

Overview and Applications

In many areas of the coatings and printing inks industry, it is necessary to conduct tests under exactly the same mechanical conditions. The RM 5001 CE Disperser was developed specifically for this purpose. It facilitates the evaluation of pigments, binders, and dispersing aids under reproducible conditions.

The disperser enables batch testing with as many samples as possible, which are tested uniformly and under identical technical conditions using special sample holders. This makes it much easier to compare results regarding dispersibility, color development, and the optimization of grinding batches.

The vibration pattern is oval-shaped in the vertical direction, extending from back to front. Compared to other shaking machines, the dispersing results achieved are at least equivalent, while offering shorter dispersing times and a high degree of independence of the results from the positioning of the samples within the device.

Reproducible test conditions The disperser is designed for series tests and comparative studies under constant mechanical conditions.
For testing multiple samples at once Special sample holders allow for the simultaneous testing of multiple samples with a total weight of up to 20 kg.
Flexible in design and accessories Fully automatic and semi-automatic models, air cooling, and custom adapters expand the range of applications.
